Lisa Lillien, aka Hungry Girl, comes to Temple Israel on Sept. 21 from 2-4 pm to entertain with the story of her rise to fame as a New York Times best-selling author, star of her own TV show airing on both Food Network and Cooking Channel, creator of free daily e-mails (hungry-girl.com) for more than 1 million subscribers, and guru on eating more and staying slim. WRJ-Temple Israel Sisterhood opens its year with this program designed to entertain and explain how to stay full while losing weight.
The event also features Q&A with April Thompson of News Channel 3, as well as a book signing for Lillien's latest book, The Hungry Girl Diet.
