Based on reflections on over 100 years of Jewish and Zionist history, Dr. Rachel Korazim will lead us on a journey exploring early images of Israel in the eyes of Diaspora Jews as well as images of the Diaspora in Israel. The proximity of the Shoa (Holocaust) to the birth of the state of Israel had a lot to do with these images. Together we will challenged by Dr. Korazim to explore possible new venues as Israel is well over 60 and ready to explore more mature and age appropriate relations with Jewish communities overseas.
