Words to Action: Empowering Students to Address Anti-Semitism is an interactive education program designed to empower and equip high school students with constructive and effective responses to combat anti-semitism such as stereotypes and prejudices, vandalism, harassment, hate speech.

This program came about as ADL’s response to the finding that middle and high school students were regularly experiencing taunts and harassment in their schools and in their neighborhoods. Rather than standing up to this prejudice, many young people remain silent in the face of oppression and in many cases did not discuss these episodes with family or friends.

We are very fortunate to be able to bring this amazing program to Memphis on Tuesday evening, March 5.The program is open to all Jewish Memphis teens and will take place at the Jewish Community Center from 6pm-9pm and dinner will be served. There is no charge for students to attend this dynamic program.
