What's the toughest question your child has asked you about money? Are you a parent or grandparent of a child age 3-16? Bring your questions and stories of your own efforts to raise grounded young kids who know how to save, splurge and give in the most meaningful ways to hear Ron Lieber, "Your Money" columnist for the New York Times and author of the recently published book, The Opposite of Spoiled.
In his book, Ron delivers a compelling statement against silence around money in families. While well-meaning parents talk about money out of concern that it impolite, ill-advised or age-inappropriate, Ron will tell us that building family conversation around money is one of the best ways we can teach kids great values. A light brunch will be served. Please RSVP to jfom@jewishfoundationofmemphis.org.
