Memphis Jewish Federation Campaign Support Resource

Thank you for stepping up as a leader in Federation’s 2021 campaign. You are taking on the awesome responsibility of reaching out to others, giving them the opportunity to make an impact on Jewish needs locally, in Israel and around the world.

This year we have experienced unprecedented challenges. With the arrival of COVID came a myriad of issues that we never dreamed we’d be facing. Social distancing, devastating illness, social isolation, mental health issues and financial hardship. Our Jewish community has shown, once again, that we stand together when facing challenges. 

Because of donor support, Federation has provided thousands of dollars to our Memphis partners to help deal with this crisis. We have been able to provide stable funding and each week connect with those on the front lines of our agencies to assess needs and come up with solutions.

Our goal is to be the stable force in our Jewish community that everyone can count on. To achieve this, we launched our campaign early and asked every donor at the $5,000 or above level to provide multi-year funding. We are off to a great start – but we need to keep going! 

This resource page will provide you with information you need to communicate needs to our donors. If there’s something you don’t see in this library of resources please let us know. 

Here are some quick tips about this year’s campaign:

• Every new or increased gift dollar will be matched 50 cents by Jewish Federations of North America.
• We aim to close this year’s Campaign by year-end.
• By accelerating the pace of the Campaign, we will be able to provide predictable and stable funding to our partners – one of the most important things we can do during these times of uncertainty.
