Join us at Beth Sholom as Dr. Stephen Haynes will discuss “The Battle for Bonhoeffer: Debating Discipleship in the Era of Obama and Trump.” Dr. Haynes will engage the question of why Evangelical Christians voted in such large numbers for Donald Trump.

Stephen R. Haynes is the A. B. Curry Professor of Religious Studies at Rhodes College, where he has taught since 1989. He is author of editor of eleven books, including several related to the legacy of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

The program will begin at 7pm, followed by a brief reception.
